P-Tech High School Program

The Pathways in Technology Early College High School (PTECH) program is an innovative partnership between the Adams 14 School District, Front Range Community College, the Construction Education Foundation (CEF), and the Associated General Contractors of Colorado (AGC-C).

Students graduate with a high school diploma, construction industry credentials, and an associates degree – in addition to gaining relevant workplace skills – all at no cost to the student.

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA PLUS ASSOCIATES DEGREE

  • PTECH students begin in 9th grade and continue for up to 6 years – high school and 2 equivalent years of college
  • Students will earn their high school diploma from Adams City High School and an Architectural & Building Science Associate of Applied Science degree from Front Range Community College
  • A cohort of 25-50 students annually will be accepted into this Architectural & Building Science Academy
  • PTECH is open to all students with a special focus on encouraging enrollment of students who are socio-economically and racially diverse, the first to attend college in their family, English language learners, and students with disabilities.
  • Adams City High School is the only high school in Adams County currently offering a PTECH program
  • For more information and a list of other Colorado high schools offering PTECH programs throughout the state visit cde.state.co.us/postsecondary/p-tech
